  1. I’ve had migraines most of my adult life, and they definitely got worse and more frequent as I got older.

Since starting the Kick That Migraine protocol, I’ve actually noticed a real difference. The three concepts have been huge for me—especially learning to spot my triggers and just being more in tune with how my body reacts. For the first time, I feel like I’m not completely at the mercy of my migraines, but in control because I know now how to actually prevent them from happening in the first place.

Keeping a daily diary has been such an eye-opener. I found out I’m really sensitive to foods with glutamate, nitrates, and citric acid. What surprised me most is how “normal” foods can turn into triggers—things I never would have guessed! Citrus, leafy greens like lettuce, silverbeet and spinach, even beef and pork (but strangely I can eat lamb and chicken just fine). It feels like the silliest everyday foods end up being the ones that set me off. Of course having that kind of knowledge how your body works, what to look out for has been a total game changer for me.

The trigger diary has been absolutely invaluable—I honestly don’t think I’d have this kind of insight or control without it. Thank you Lilli for giving me my life back and not fearing the next migraine attack.

  2. That’s fantastic, Marie-Louise! I’m so glad you’re finding the three core concepts helpful and that the diary has given you real insight into your triggers. It’s such a powerful step when you start noticing patterns and feel back in control. Keep going—you’re doing wonderfully!
